On Sunday around 12:20 a.m., Bowling Green officers were in the 100 block of North Main Street at a vehicle stop when they heard people yelling near a parking lot.
Upon arrival, one of the officers saw Santos Arriaga, 21, on top of another man, in a physical altercation, according to a Bowling Green Police Division report.
The officer pulled Arriaga off the man.
Another officer stopped the other man, later identified as a 24-year-old from Bradner, who was walking away. He told police he pushed Arriaga after seeing him push a woman to the ground, according to the report.
Arriaga reportedly started pulling away and resisting. He was highly intoxicated and slurring his speech, according to the report.
