Eileen F. Davis, age 95, of Portage, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Wood Haven Health Care in Bowling Green. She was born on October 21, 1927, in Wayne to the late Dorsey A. & Leah A. (Hartman) Ward. Eileen married Seth Davis on August 8, 1946, in Greenup KY, and he preceded her in passing on July 1, 2018.
Surviving Eileen are her sons, Cliff (Janice) Davis of Owosso, MI, Mark (MaryAnn) Davis, Phil (Melanie) Davis, Roger (Michele) Davis all of Wayne; daughter, Suzy (Bill) Koehler of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Donna Aurand of Wayne; 12 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorsey & Leah; loving husband, Seth; and brothers, Leroy, Glenn, Harold, & Ray.
Eileen was a 1945 graduate of Montgomery Township High School, a member of the Wayne Church of Christ, an avid reader, and her greatest love in life was spending time with family.
Friends will be received from 10 – 11 AM on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin Thursday at 11 AM with Pastor Ron Adams officiating. Graveside service will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Immediately following a bereavement luncheon will be held at the Wayne Church of Christ.
