Free dental care for kids offered

Next month, members of the Toledo Dental Society will provide free dental care for hundreds of Northwest Ohio children at three locations, including Owens Community College.

The annual Give Kids a Smile program. is intended to help families who otherwise could not afford dental care for their children. All children are welcomed, but priority will be given to children who have no private insurance and are not eligible for Medicaid.

Dentists and hygienists will provide the care for children up to and including age 18, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Appointments fill quickly.
