Homeschooling families can connect at the library

Families who homeschool are invited to the Wood County District Public Library’s Children’s Place for a homeschool hangout.

Visit the library, 251 N. Main St., on Wednesdays, Feb. 15, March 15 and April 19, from 1-3 p.m. for Homeschool Hangout.

Students of all ages and their parents or guardians are welcome to participate in this friendly get-together with opportunities for conversation, resource sharing and play. Connect with other homeschooling families, meet new friends and learn about library resources.

Good Reads & Great Food: Join library’s Page to Table

Foodies rejoice: join the Wood County District Public Library’s Page to Table cookbook discussion to checkout a cookbook, prepare a dish to share, and come to discuss what worked and what didn’t.

Discussions are held Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at the Carter House. Plates, utensils and cups are provided. No registration is required.
