Custar Legion serves breakfast

CUSTAR — Custar American Legion Post 305, 9155 Custar Road, will host a breakfast Sunday from 8 a.m.-noon.

The meal is sponsored by the Sons of American Legion.

A donation will be accepted for the breakfast, which will include pancakes, French toast, eggs and sausage.

Armwrestling championship comes to Alehouse in BG

Alehouse Grill, located in the Woodland Mall at 1234 N. Main St., in conjunction with Filthy Animals Armwrestling Club, will be hosting the Alehouse Arm Wrestling Championships on Saturday.

Open registration for classes of pro, masters, amateurs, women and youth, start Friday, January 6th from 6-8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at Alehouse Grill.

There is a registration fee of $25 per arm per weight class. Spectators get into the event for free. Arm wrestling begins at 12:30 p.m.

BG school board organizes for 2023

The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold an organizational meeting on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Administrative Offices building, 137 Clough St.

N. Baltimore school board organizes

NORTH BALTIMORE — The North Baltimore organizational and regular January board of education meeting will be held on Wednesday.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at 2012 Tiger Drive. The regular meeting will follow.

Otsego schools organizes for 2023

TONTOGANY — The Otsego Local Schools Board of Education will meet for its organizational meeting Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the high school library.

Other business that comes before the board also will be discussed.

BG historic commission meets

The City of Bowling Green Historic Preservation Commission will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, third floor conference room, 304 N. Church St. For more information, call the planning department at 419-354-6218.

Pancake breakfast benefits Woodville fire

WOODVILLE — The Woodville Township Volunteer Fire Department Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is set for Sunday from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

The menu is scrambled eggs, chunky applesauce, homemade pork sausage with sausage. This is carryout only.

The cost is adults $8, seniors $7.50 and children under age 12 $7.
