Mary E. (Onsel) Asmus, 93, of Bowling Green, Ohio and formerly of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away December 25, 2022.
She was born November 6, 1929 to the late Edward and Laurel (Bonawitt) Onsel and grew up in Risingsun, Ohio.
Mary was a 1946 graduate of Risingsun High School. She went on to obtain her undergraduate and master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. She worked as the Foreign Language teacher at Eastwood Schools for nearly 20 years and owned the Little Shop on the Portage in Woodville, Ohio.
She married Norman Asmus, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children Kristin (Keith) McCloud of Grandville, Ohio, Kari Asmus of Etna, New Hampshire and Eric Asmus of Toledo, Ohio and grandson Keenan McCloud.
Services are pending.
