It is with profound sadness that we announce Joseph Gregory “Ted” Pauken, age 35, of Rudolph, Ohio passed away December 26, 2022 following a short but valiant battle with cancer.
Joe was born in Toledo on September 3, 1987 and raised near Custar, later graduating from Bowling Green High School. Following high school, Joe married his high school sweetheart, Miranda Bennett on August 18, 2012.
He was employed by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department as a Correctional Officer.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 10 years, Miranda; parents, David G. “Chuck” and Christine Pauken; brother Charles; mother-in-law and father-in-law Randy and Rhoda Bennett; brother-in-law Clinton (Andrea) Bennett; nephews Wilson Bennett and Randell Bennett and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Public visitation will be held on Wednesday January 4, 2023 from 2-6 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Please dress casually.
Services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
