Senior center offers events, lunch and dinner

The following events will take place next week through the Wood County Committee on Aging/Wood County Senior Center.

Meals

Lunch menu: Monday macaroni cheese and ham or chicken dumplings, Tuesday chipped turkey or bologna salad sandwich, Wednesday pork chop or turkey tetrazzini, all sites closed Thursday and Friday.

Dinner menu: Tuesday chicken tenders, no evening meals on Wednesday and Thursday.

*Dinner reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

Advanced planning

Art Therapy is set for Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. The project is altered book making. In this workshop, participants will be given the opportunity to choose or bring a used book that can be transformed for visual journaling and altered book making. Please feel free to bring any materials you would like to incorporate into your altered book making. The cost is $10. Registration required. Facilitated by Kaitlyn Harden, MA, LPC, ATR-P. Sponsored by Amada Senior Care.

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute.
