Cocoon is talk of Topical Tuesdays at Way

PERRYSBURG — Way Public Library and the League of Women Voters of the Perrysburg Area welcome Kathy Mull, executive director of the Cocoon, for a presentation on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Cocoon is Wood County’s comprehensive domestic and sexual violence agency serving survivors for over 17 years. Mull will share the mission and vision of the Cocoon. She will also explain the impact and scope of services provided, ways to get involved and plans for the future.

Mull joined the Cocoon in 2012 as the program director and was promoted to executive director in 2017. She is a Licensed Social Worker having earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Toledo and a Master of Social Work from Eastern Michigan. Mull brings 19 years of experience serving domestic and sexual violence survivors and is only one of 290 individuals to complete the Advocacy Learning Center course through Praxis International.
