Emaline Lee was named September Student of the Month at Elmwood High School, while Julia Gross earned the honor in October.

Lee is the daughter of Ryan and Cora Lee, Jerry City. She is on the varsity volleyball and track and field teams. She also is student council president and a member of National Honor Society, Spanish club, art club and science club.

She plans to attend a four-year university and major in nursing.

Gross is the daughter of Andrew and Renee Gross, of Wayne. She is on the varsity cross country and track and field teams. She also is a member of National Honor Society, student council and Spanish club.

After high school, she plans to attend a four-year university and major in psychology.
