Senior center offers events, lunch and dinner

The following events will take place next week through the Wood County Committee on Aging/Wood County Senior Center.

Meals

Lunch menu: Country fried steak or barbecue chicken breast Tuesday king ranch chicken casserole or beef lasagna Wednesday birthday lunch hamloaf, Thursday vegetable soup or broccoli soup, Friday bratwurst or chicken wings.

Dinner Menu: Tuesday ham, Wednesday cheeseburger, Thursday white chicken chili.

Dinner reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

Advanced planning

A fall concert with live music from Andrew and Terri Dean will be held Nov. 2 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Wood County Senior Center. Andrew Dean has received more than 30 awards, including entertainer of the year, country song and album of the year, plus the patriotic song of the year from numerous country and gospel music associations. Stay for dinner, served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Make a reservation no later than Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. Call 419-353-5661 for more information.

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute.
