Kaiden Reed puts up 12 points as Flyers stay unbeaten

ROSSFORD — Lake boys soccer routed Rossford, 14-1, Thursday in Northern Buckeye Conference action as Kaiden Reed had 12 points on two goals and eight assists.

Lake remains unbeaten at 9-0-1 overall and 5-0-1 in NBC games. Rossford falls to 1-8 and 1-5.

Also scoring two goals apiece for the Flyers were Jackson Gladieux, Greyson Reed and Mason Sneed.

Also scoring for Lake were Zachary Buschmann, Avery Alder, Auggie Warton, Jonathon Specht, Preston Snyder, and Gael Rios. Warton had an assist.

Holden Wodrich got the win in goal for the Flyers. Jake Humphrey scored for the Bulldogs.

Otsego 4, Eastwood 2

TONTOGANY —Hudson Thomas scored two goals to lead Otsego to a 4-2 Northern Buckeye Conference boys soccer victory over Eastwood Thursday.

Markel Aranbarri and Travis Merrill scored one goal apiece for the Knights.

Otsego is 5-5 overall and 4-2 in the NBC, while Eastwood falls to 1-9 and 1-5.

Eastwood 11, Otsego 0

PEMBERVILLE — Eastwood girls soccer opened an 8-0 halftime lead and cruised to an 11-0 Northern Buckeye Conference victory over Otsego Thursday.

For the Eagles, senior Hannah Montag and junior Abby Rothenbuhler scored two goals apiece.

Seniors Grace Kingery and Emelissa Paredes, juniors Reilly Might and Delaine Zura, sophomore Sam Brooks, and freshmen Piper Sutton and Mylah Shoemaker also scored for the Eagles.

Kingery had four assists, Montag had three assists, and Zura, Brooks, Sutton and senior Kayden Firsdon had one assist each. Eastwood sophomore goalkeeper Jordan Jensen had three saves.

Eastwood improves to 9-0-1 overall and 6-0 in the league.

Bowling Green 3, Sylvania Southview 0

SYLVANIA — Madison Cowan had 13 kills and 12 digs in leading Bowling Green to a 25-19, 25-23, 25-17 Northern Lakes League volleyball win at Southview.

For BG, Francesca Meek had two kills, 18 digs, and six assists and Abigail Slembarski had one kill, nine digs and 34 assists.

BG is 6-6 overall and 4-4 during NLL play, while Southview is 3-9 and 1-7.

Perrysburg 3, Maumee 1

MAUMEE — Perrysburg volleyball won on the road Thursday, defeating Maumee 25-22, 21-25, 25-10, 25-22.

Perrysburg improves to 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the Northern Lakes League while Maumee falls to 6-7 and 2-6.

Rossford 3, Elmwood 2

ROSSFORD — Rossford volleyball rallied from two sets down to defeat Elmwood Thursday, 16-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-14, 15-12.

For Rossford, Olivia Rust had 25 kills and 22 digs and Sophia Shinavar had 38 assists.

Rossford improves to 6-6 overall and 5-3 in the Northern Buckeye Conference while Elmwood falls to 6-8 and 2-6.

Lake 3, Fostoria 0

FOSTORIA — Lake volleyball stayed undefeated at 13-0 overall and 8-0 in the Northern Buckeye Conference with a 25-11, 25-15, 25-11 win at Fostoria Thursday.

Lake leaders were Ella Vorst with 16 kills, Taryn DeWese had 14 kills, Vayda Delventhal had 23 assists, and Sydney Stanley had 19 digs.

Fostoria is 1-14 and winless in eight NBC contests.

Otsego 3, Woodmore 0

TONTOGANY — Otsego swept Woodmore, 25-20, 25-15, 25-22, in Northern Buckeye Conference volleyball Thursday.

For the Knights, junior Emily Genson had nine serving aces and a .500 hitting percentage with 10 kills and junior Addysen Limes had seven aces and 10 digs.

Otsego junior Faith Keifer had eight kills, 12 assists, 12 digs, and 12 assists, junior Kora Rollins hit .750 hitting with six kills and senior Kylee Baransk had 15 assists and six digs.

Otsego improves to 7-5 overall and 6-2 in the NBC while Woodmore falls to 7-6 and 2-6.
