Treats at the Stroh
Kids can trick or treat at the Stroh Center at Bowling Green State University on Friday.
From 4 to 5 p.m., student athletes will pass out candy. BGSU volleyball will host Western Michigan at 5
p.m.
Children ages 13 and under will receive free admission to the game with a costume.

Registration is open for Upward 2015 basketball and cheerleading.

Children must attend an evaluation. Evaluation days are Nov. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m., Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to
1 p.m., Dec. 5 from  6 to 8 p.m. and Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It should take less than 30 minutes to
go through the evaluation.

Trim a Tree at the library
Families are invited to the Children’s Place of the Wood County District Public Library to make ornaments
for the city’s holiday tree.
Materials and supplies will be available Saturday and Sunday between 1 and 4 p.m. in the Children’s
Place.
The ornaments will be place on the tree outside the library. The tree lighting ceremony will be at 7 p.m.
on Nov. 21.

Novel Chit Chats group discusses ‘A Wrinkle in Time’
The November Novel Chit-Chat book discussion group for adults and youth will meet in the Children’s Place
of the Wood County District Public Library at 7 p.m. on Monday to discuss "A Wrinkle in Time"
by Madeline L’Engle.
The 1963 Newbery Award Winner has been made into a motion picture and was recently published as a graphic
novel adapted and illustrated by Hope Larson.
Multiple copies of both the novel and graphic novel are available to be checked out at the Children’s
Place desk.
The Children’s Place also looks forward to the upcoming Bowling Green High School production of "A
Wrinkle in Time" on Nov. 6-8 at the BG Performing Arts Center.

Dinosaurs stomp into Imagination Station
TOLEDO – "Dinosaurs Unearthed," featuring state-of-the-art and scientifically accurate models,
is open now through April 12 at the Imagination Station downtown.
Visitors can explore how scientists excavate fossils, draw conclusions about dinosaurs and create
representations of the dinosaurs.
The exhibit features 14 realistic, full-bodied dinosaurs as well as educational interactives, skeletons,
fossils and a predator scene.
