The Wood County Committee on Aging will he holding its "Downtown Diva Nite" on June 26 from
5:30 to 8 p.m. at First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road.
Funds from the event will benefit "Senior Center on Call" program, a weekly telephone program
designed to promote lifelong learning for older adults.
The ladies attending this night out will be served what organizers call " decadent desserts and
mocktails.
Those attending may also purchase new and gently used designer jewelry and purses as well as bid on
designer purses and dinner for two with local businessmen at the live auction.
The organizers welcome any donations of new or slightly used purses for the silent auction. Drop off
donations at the Wood County Committee on Aging, 305 N Main St. Bowling Green. Vendors will be on hand.
