To the Editor:
This is to express my sincere appreciation to the Wood County Hospital ER, Radiology, Laboratory,
Pulmonary Function, and Cancer Care Center.  What a wonderful health care facility we have here!
From diagnosis of lung cancer in June to Radiation and Chemotherapy, I received the ultimate in care and
treatment. The radiation doctor, nurses and staff kindly and clearly explained everything to expect and
helped me understand what was happening every step of the way. They became my friends. The Chemotherapy
doctor, nurses and staff were equally helpful throughout my treatment. They also became my friends. In
both treatments, all of them welcomed my concerned family and answered every question given them.  
There is now a waiting period to determine the effectiveness of the treatments, but I couldn’t be more
pleased with the process so far. It is very comforting to know you are receiving treatment from the
finest available equipment and the finest professional people in the field of cancer care.
Furthermore, I send my heartfelt thanks to all the supporters who donated and worked to provide a
wonderful Cancer Care Center in Wood County.
