On Dec. 5, more than 40 Bowling Green State University women’s track, field, and cross country team
members gave back to the Bowling Green community by visiting Heritage Corner.
Krystin Reiser contacted Activity Director Geoff Trautman to set up a volunteer opportunity at Heritage
Corner.  With the holidays in sight, the track team decided they wanted to bake cookies and join the
Heritage Corner clients to help decorate the cookies.
Client Garnet Gross said she was thankful for the students to volunteer and socialize with the clients.
Gross explained it meant so much because she worked as a secretary at Offenhauer Towers on campus for 26
years and always enjoyed the students.
The staff and the residents appreciated the visit which helped make for a brighter holiday season.
