The 2020 Census is hiring and needs to recruit 665 people in Wood County before April 1.
To be a Census employee, you are not required to submit a resume, diploma, or degree and no experience is
required. The application is online only. Applicants can text: jobs2020 to 313131 for a link to the
website.
Representatives from the Census will be at OhioMeansJobs (Job and Family Services), 1928 E. Gypsy Lane
Road, next Feb. 28 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Census representatives will be assisting people with completing
their applications and answering any questions they may have.
The hourly pay rates are $18 to $20.
Some of the jobs available are recruiting assistant, census field supervisor and census taker.
