Gold Medal
The Gold Medal 4-H Club will hold an open house Feb. 22 from 2-4 p.m
• Meet members and look through project books
• See examples of completed projects on display
• Club Planning Meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Perrysburg Way Public Library Downstairs
What: Have you ever gone to your local county fair? If so, have you ever wondered how kids get their
animals and projects into the fair? Well, it’s through a program called 4-H. It doesn’t have to be
animals. It could be fishing, cooking, hunting, sewing, photography, and more! You can make friends
through 4-H while doing fun things like going to camp and making milkshakes! Learn leadership skills and
gain knowledge that will help you in the future.
Come to the library to learn about what 4-H has to offers and what project books are available. Enjoy
refreshments and make some new friends. The age requirements begin with those age 5-7, who are called
Cloverbuds. Those age 8-19 are official 4-Hers.
Those wishing to be part of this or any other 4-H club, application forms are due March 15.
The public is invited to attend this open house, especially those with 4-H-age students.
If you would like more info about the club, contact Janell Vickers, at 419-509-0570 or 419-874-8125 home
