BGHS holding fish fry
The Bowling Green High School baseball team is holding a fish fry Nov. 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the BG
Eagles Club.
Tickets are $15 each and get each person a perch dinner, cole slaw, a roll, fresh cut fries, a drink and
dessert.
Contract Fred Riggs at 419-450-8115 to purchase tickets.
All proceeds go to the baseball program, helping pay for the spring break trip and equipment.
Dufour named WCHA POW
Bowling Green’s Kevin Dufour was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Associated player of the week
Monday.
Dufour, a sophomore on the hockey team, scored three goals in the Falcons’ two-game sweep of Alabama
Huntsville.
Dufour leads the country with six goals.
Cadel named defensive POW
Bowling Green State University women’s soccer goalkeeper Lauren Cadel was named the Mid-American
Conference’s defensive player of the week Monday.
Cadel recorded 24 saves in two wins last week. She has recorded double-digit saves in each of her last
four games, totalling 119 saves on the season.
