Geneva B. Carter, 92, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Napoleon, OH, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at
Quiet Oaks Assisted Living, Ocala, Fl.
Geneva was born in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Truman and Elma Saunders. Besides her parents, Geneva was
also preceded in death by her husband Earl Carter; daughter Cathy Casper, and siblings: Edith Lear,
Evelyn McLaughlin, Elizabeth Cox, twins Pauline Viars and Paul Saunders, and Johanna Wheeler.
Geneva is survived by her sons; Gary (Gerry) Carter, and Earl (Jackie) Carter; daughter; Bernie (Ed)
Tallman; son-in-law: Robert Casper. Grandchildren; Troy Carter, Tracy Carter, Chuck (Kristie) Laytart,
Kim (Phil) Bechstein, Bruce (Karen) Tallman, Mark Tallman, Cassandra (Bret) Griggs Chris (Alisha)
Carter, Deidre (James) Jeffiers, Chad (Dawn) Hall, Terry (Alice Brunckhart) Jones, Mark Casper and 25
great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Geneva was a terrific cook. She also enjoyed boating and fishing in Lake Erie and lake Michigan.
Geneva worked at Campbell Soup, Napoleon, Ohio and retired in 1981.
Geneva was a member at Adamsville Baptist Church in Wildwood, Fl.
She was a resident of Quiet Oaks Assisted Living, Ocala, FL for four years.
She enjoyed taking part in all of the activities provided by a gifted loving Activities Director. She
also sang in a quartet.
Visitation will be held at Wright-Habegger Funeral Home, 24084 W. Second St., Grand Rapids, OH 43522 on
Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 from 10 a.m. until noon.
Funeral Services will also be held at Wright-Habegger Funeral Home on Feb. 2 at noon. Burial will follow
at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids, OH.
