Contra dance at Rossford
ROSSFORD – The second Saturday Contra Dance will be this weekend at the Rossford United Methodist Church,
270 Dixie Hwy.
The dance is from 7 to 10:30 p.m., with instruction from 7 to 7:30.
Partners are not necessary, and beginners and families are welcome.
The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students ages 12 through graduate school.

Portage Center Arbor meets Saturday
Portage Center Arbor 524 will have its 7th annual Samaritan Funds Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion U.
B. Family Fellowship Hall at the corner of Bays and Reynolds roads.
A potluck will be served with Portage Center Arbor furnishing the meat and coffee, lemonade and water.
Table service will not be provided.
Twenty non-profit organizations will be receiving some Samaritan Funds.
Wayne distributes government food
WAYNE – The Wayne Food Pantry will be distributing food Dec. 18 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire hall.
The giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet eligibility requirements
Tai Chi classes offered in BG
The Taoist Tai Chi Society will offer Tai Chi classes beginning in January in Bowling Green. The society
is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to improving health and well-being.
Tai Chi for Health – Taoist Tai Chi beginner classes consist of slow movements that use gentle turns and
graceful stretches to improve balance, flexibility, circulation and strength. All adults welcome. For

Classes start Jan. 9  from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Wood County Senior Center on North Main Street.
