BG mattress sale benefits band booster
The Bowling Green High School Band Boosters will hold its first mattress fundraiser on Saturday, with
purchases benefiting high school and middle school music students.
All mattress sizes will be available at up to 50 percent off retail, including firm, pillow top,
orthopedic, latex and gel memory foam sets. Name brands will include Simmons, Restonic, Southerland and
more. All mattresses will be new with factory warranty.
The event is from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the large high school gym.
Delivery will be available upon request and free layaway also will be available.

St. Louis School holds benefit supper
CUSTAR — St. Louis School is having an all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper Saturday from 4:30- 7 p.m. The
dinner includes a salad, bread, beverage and ice cream sundae bar.
A free will donation will be accepted, with all proceeds going towards school operating expenses.
Carry outs will be available.
St. Louis School is located at 22776 Defiance Pike.
Annual Maumee vs. Perrysburg Fishing Tournament set for April 27
MAUMEE — Maumee High School and Perrysburg High School together will host the 8th annual Fishing
Tournament on April 27. Registration at 9:30 a.m. and measuring at 1:30 p.m. will be held at the Side
Cut Rotary Pavilion at Side Cut Park at 1025 W. River Road. Fishing will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The intent of this tournament is to promote overall good fellowship between rival schools, promote
fishing, as well as to raise awareness of the wonderful natural resource that both communities share.

The contest will be comprised of teams of two representing the Panthers or Jackets. All fishing teams
must be registered by April 25 at the end of the school day. Student, staff and friends from Maumee or
Perrysburg are eligible to participate in the tournament. The rain date will be May 4.
