Bechstein family thanks community after fire

To the Editor:
On March 4 at approximately 1:45 p.m. the unthinkable happened, we had a barn fire that spread. We would
like to express our thanks to many people.
First, we would like to thank Chad Wozniakowski for alerting us and working tirelessly to help save our
belongings, if not for you things could have turned out differently. Wood County Sheriff’s Office
dispatchers for being the calm in our storm and getting help to us. Sheriff deputies for keeping the
chaos controlled. Weston Fire, Central Joint Fire District and Bowling Green Fire Division for a
fantastic job saving our home. Center Township, Milton Township, Washington Township and Middleton
Township for assisting with water, and our family, friends and neighbors who never gave a thought to
being there for us in any and every way they could and continue still.
We would also like to thank BGCS, BGSUPD and Town and Country Animal Health for allowing us time to
process without pressure to return to work right away, and everyone we work with for their devotion to
us.
There are countless other people that we don’t even know that reached out with support in a thousand
different ways. Please know that nothing went unnoticed and appreciated.
The outpouring of generosity from everyone is unimaginable, from the prayers and kind words of
encouragement to the actions you have shown will never be forgotten. We are blessed beyond comprehension
because of all of you. So, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you.
Ron and Tracey Bechstein
