BG’s Elsasser named all-Ohioan
Bowling Green’s Isaac Elsasser earned all-state honors in the selections released by the OHSAA on
Wednesday.
Elsasser was selected as an honorable mention in the Division I all-Ohio picks.
The 6-foot-4 junior led the Bobcats in scoring and claimed the school’s all-time scoring record in his
final prep game.
Elsasser will continue his basketball career as Bowling Green State University.
BGSU’s East earns all-conference honors
Bowling Green State University gymnast Jovannah East was named first-team all-Mid-American Conference as
announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The selection is the third time East has earned first-team honors in her career.
The Falcons’ junior, an NCAA qualifier a season ago, leads the MAC in Regional Qualifying Score on both
the vault and balance beam. She also ranks second on the floor.
East, who’s 39.093 average all-around leads the MAC, has twice scored a perfect 10.0 this season.
