Members were treated to luncheon at Brookdale Senior Living on Feb. 12.
Following the meal, President Marilyn Pahl conducted a short business meeting. The minutes from the
previous meeting were read and approved.
Pahl announced that Founder’s Day will be held on April 28 at Bowling Green Country Club. Betty Goodman
suggested that the group begin collecting items for First Step again.
Kim Thomas has volunteered to delivery the items. Goodman also suggested that the group invite someone
from First Step to attend a meeting and talk about the programs available to clients.
Thomas passed around one of the old cookbooks which members sold from Xi Beta Rho Chapter. Thomas had
prepared Cherry-berry in a Cloud for dessert, which is from the old cookbook ,and presented from Kim’s
aunt Linda Rood. The members enjoyed many memories from their time in the previous chapters.
After the meeting was adjourned, a social hour followed.
