Police responded to the high school on a report of a student in possession of a vaping device possibly
containing an illegal substance.
Randelle Castellanos, 33, Fostoria, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructed license
plate, expired registration, unauthorized license plate and expired operator’s license/over six months.
He also had a warrant from Seneca County for trafficking in heroin. He was taken to jail.
Accident occurred Jan. 11:
Nicole Pirrwitz, BG, was southbound on Ohio 25 and was being followed by Lyndell Osborne, Sylvania.
Osborne was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance after striking Pirrwitz.

Police responded to the 1000 block of Third Street for an unresponsive male, possible overdose. He was
taken to the hospital.
Tariq Haliburton, 32, Fife, Washington, was arrested for tampering with records, possession of hashish,
no front license plate, expired registration, unauthorized plates and driving under suspension. He was
taken to jail.
Accidents occurred Jan. 12:
Paul Lamorelle, Mason, was parked off an alley in the 300 block of North Summit Street. Jordan Murphy,
BG, was cited for improper backing after backing from a driveway and striking Lamorelle.
Roy Hernandez, BG, was westbound on Sand Ridge Road and struck a deer.
Ian Smith, BG, was stopped in the eastbound lane of West Gypsy Lane Road at South Main Street. Myles
Johnson, BG, was southbound on South Main, and while turning left onto West Gypsy Lane, slid on the wet
snow. Johnson struck Smith and was cited for reasonable control.
Callie Stull, Perrysburg, was southbound on North Grove Street approaching West Merry Avenue when she
lost control on the snowy road and struck a stop sign. She was cited for reasonable control.
Stacey Tavernier, BG, was parked at Fricker’s on East Wooster Street and was struck by an unknown vehicle
between 5 and 7 p.m.

Accident occurred Jan. 14:
Amber Roop, BG, said she was exiting a Supercab and began walking around the back. Roop said she was in
the roadway when the driver, Crystal Keatley, BG, backed up, striking her in the knee. Keatley said she
did not hit Roop and Roop was on the sidewalk. A witness said Roop almost slipped on ice and was in the
sidewalk. She added she did not see Roop get hit, but observed Keatley backing and Roop hit her hand
against the van and scream.

Shanon Brown, 35, Toledo, and Erika Torres, 28, Toledo, were arrested at Meijer for felony
theft/shoplifting and possession of criminal tools. Roderick Foster, 35, Toledo, was arrested for felony
theft/shoplifting, possession of criminal tools and falsification and was cited for driving under
suspension. All three were taken to jail. Foster was arrested again Jan. 16 for tampering with records
and was taken back to jail.

Christopher Foos, BG, was stopped westbound in the 100 block of West Wooster Street, stopped to turn left
into an alley. Adam Weirich, Toledo, was westbound and attempted to pass Foos. Weirich struck Foos and
was cited for passing on the right.
Blake Miller, Clyde, was eastbound on East Napoleon Road and slid into the back of an unknown vehicle,
which then left the scene. Miller was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Collin Spader, Fremont, was southbound on the I-75 southbound exit ramp at East Wooster Street when he
was struck from behind by Lucas Lourenco, Mansfield. Lourenco was cited for assured clear distance
ahead.
