Kids’ crafts at Rite Aid
Easter activities to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network will be held Friday at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 725
S. Main St., from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
There will be snacks and beverages, coloring, crafts, games and raffle. Easter bunny photos will be taken
from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Rudolph egg hunt planned
RUDOLPH — The Rudolph Concerned Citizens are having a Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at noon.
The hunt will held in the ball field behind the Liberty Township Civic Center on Rudolph Road, rain or
shine.
Celebrate spring at the zoo
TOLEDO — Hop to it and bring the whole family to the Toledo Zoo to celebrate spring.
Breakfast with the Bunny on Friday and Saturday begins with early entry to the zoo at 9 a.m. for a
special children’s egg hunt, followed by family-friendly crafts and a visit with the costumed bunny.
Don’t forget to bring a camera. Guests will then gather in the Lodge for a chef-designed, kid-friendly
breakfast buffet before having the remainder of the day to explore the zoo.

required and tickets must be purchased in advance. Breakfast with the Bunny price includes zoo admission
and member discounts apply.
The zoo will also host Animal Egg Hunt on Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Bring the whole family and see what
enrichment treats the bunny dropped off for the animals.
Follow the animal egg hunt through the zoo and learn about animal behaviors, diets and daily activities
through keeper talks and demonstrations.

Hear a story at library
NORTH BALTIMORE — Join in a storytime at the library, 230 N. Main St., next week.
A preschool storytime is set for Tuesday at 10 a.m.
On Wednesday, After-School Fun, which features games, crafts and activities for children in grades
kindergarten-fourth is from 3-3:30 p.m.
The Just4Teens group, which is for kids in grades five and higher, meets April 1 at 3:30 p.m.

PERRYSBURG — The Write Stuff: Teen Writing Club will meet Wednesday at Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana
Ave., from 4-5 p.m.
Bring in pages you’ve written and want the group to look at, or come for the writing prompts and

Lake team is in tonight’s
finals of BGSU Brain Game
A champion will be crowned Thursday as Riverdale takes on Lake in the final match of the 2016-17 Bowling
Green State University Brain Game high school academic competition. The match airs at 9 p.m. on WBGU-TV.

The Lake High School team is made up of Abi Lovell, Emily Lovell, Parker Lake, Nathan Banky, Tim Recker
and Maddy Eye. The team is coached by Nikki Bazzoli, a language arts teacher at Lake Middle School.
The Riverdale team includes Wyatt Thacker, Samuel Thacker, Andrew Borkosky, Benjamin Borkosky and Aaron
Lease. Riverdale is coached by Kristie Thacker, a third-grade teacher with Riverdale Local Schools.
This is the fifth year for the local quiz show hosted by Marc Hathaway. Judge for the season was Karen
Hopkins.
Questions cover a range of topics from history, literature, art, science and math.
