Unplowed roads unacceptable in Webster Township

To the Editor:
I’m sure everyone remembers the snow fall we had on March 17, including the pileup on 75.
What shocks me is that the Webster Township snowplow never touched the snow. The Eastwood superintendent
sent out several messages about the road conditions including an early dismissal of the high school and
middle school.
This was to allow the buses some extra time so they could make it to elementary schools as close to their
scheduled arrival time as possible. The buses that had to travel in Webster Township had to travel on
nonplowed roads.
You would think that the township trustees would take this into consideration and make sure someone was
taking care of the roads to help get the kids home safely.
I would hope the residents of the township voice this to their trustees at the next scheduled meeting.
