Bowling Green’s hockey team cruised to a 7-1 win over Findlay in a Northwest Hockey Conference Red
Division game Friday night.
Blake Powers and Logan Bergeron each scored three times for the sixth-ranked Bobcats, who improved to
16-6-0 overall and 4-2-0 in the conference.
Findlay is ranked 10th in the state poll.
Bowling Green extended a 3-1 lead with four goals in the third period.
Brett Rich stopped 25 shots in goal for Bowling Green.
Devon Dohanos also scored for the Bobcats.

Rossford 61, Fostoria 49
In Rossford, Conner Bihn scored 12 points and Cota Sinclair added 11 as Rossford remained a game behind
Eastwood in the Northern Buckeye Conference standings.
The Bulldogs outscored Fostoria 19-11 in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Rossford is 10-4 overall and 6-2 in the NBC. Fostoria is 3-9, 1-7.
Genoa 55, Otsego 30
In Tontogany, Otsego was held to single digits in all four quarters of the NBC loss.
Genoa led 17-9 after the first quarter and coasted the rest of the way.
Otsego is 7-6 overall and 3-5 in the conference. Genoa is 9-4, 6-2.
Lake 63, Woodmore 61, OT
In Millbury, Lake allowed Woodmore to tie the game with a 14-point fourth quarter, but the Flyers held on
for the NBC win in overtime.
Zack Ellison had 18 points to lead the Flyers, while Jordan Bekier had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Jimmy
Urias had eight points and 12 rebounds.
Lake is 5-10 overall and 2-6 in the NBC. Woodmore is 5-9, 3-5.
Napoleon 68, BGHS 65
In Napoleon, Bowling Green used a dominant third quarter to tie the game before Napoleon rallied for the
Northern Lakes League win.
Bowling Green trailed 17-10 after the first quarter, but used an 18-12 advantage in the third to knot the
contest at 43-43.
Preston Morman scored 27 points for Bowling Green and Isaac Elsasser added 17 points.
Brett Lauf led Napoleon with 31 points.
The Bobcats are 1-10 overall and 1-5 in the NLL. Napoleon is 4-7, 2-3.
