LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Police are searching for a man suspected of shooting three people and
kidnapping a 3-week-old baby in Southern California.

The Long Beach Police Department says officers went to a home just before 6 p.m. Saturday after a call
about a shooting.

Officers found two men and one woman, the baby’s mother, with gunshot wounds.

Police spokeswoman Marlene Arrona says the victims are hospitalized in critical condition.

Police say a 10-pound baby girl named Eliza Delacruz is missing from the home.

Detectives are still waiting to interview the seriously injured victims and aren’t saying if the suspect
is related to the victims or the child.

Arrona says they also don’t know if the suspect knew the victims and haven’t determined a motive.
