Marie N. (Burwell) Freeworth, 101, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 5,
2013 at Briar Hill Health in North Baltimore.She was born September 11, 1912 in Grand Rapids, Ohio to
James H. and Grace (Niebel) Burwell. She married Clarence W. Freeworth October 18, 1930 and he preceded
her in death December 18, 1987.She is survived by her son, James L. (Shirley) Freeworth, of Bowling
Green, Ohio, grandsons, James W. (Vicki) Freeworth, of Medina, Ohio, and Bill (Debbie) Freeworth of
Bowling Green, Ohio, and great-grandchildren, Patrick, Paige and Grahm Freeworth.Marie was a member of
First Methodist Church and Susan Henry Circle. She was past Matron of Grand Rapids Eastern Stars #356
where she was a 60-year member.She retired in 1972 after 16 years of service as Food Service Manager at
Bowling Green State University.A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 7,
2013 at Wood County Memory Gardens. Rev. Susan Kronbach will officiate. There will be no
visitation.Arrangements have been entrusted to DUNN FUNERAL HOME located in the Historical District of
