HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — A judge in southwestern Ohio willdecide whether a 16-year-old honor
student will be tried as an adult forallegedly setting a fire to kill his parents.A Butler
CountyJuvenile Court judge on Tuesday ordered a probable cause hearing in thecase on Nov. 26. The boy’s
attorney has asked for a competency hearingand change of venue.The Cincinnati

attempted murder and a single count of aggravatedarson in the Oct. 23 incident.Police said the teen
tried to killhis parents by setting their house on fire as they slept and tying theirbedroom door shut.
