be preserved as a historical sitein Silicon Valley.The Los Altos Historical Commission isscheduled
Monday to discuss a proposal to give protected status to thesingle-story, ranch house where Jobs and his
foster parents moved in1968.Commissioner Sapna Marfatia says the property ishistorically significant
because it’s where Jobs and Apple co-founderSteve Wozniak built the first 50 Apple 1 computers in
1976.Thefirst partnership for "Apple Computer Co." was established at the CristDrive home in
Los Altos before the company relocated to nearbyCupertino.The San Jose Mercury News (http://bit.ly/18ifIJh ) reports the former Jobs home
would have to be preserved as itcurrently stands if added to the city’s historic resources
