Graduates: Neufeld earns D.O. degree (07-06-13)

Kelsey Neufeld, D.O., of Bowling Green, has completed the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
degree at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University. An official graduation
ceremony and conferring of degrees took place on the Midwestern University campus in Glendale, Ariz., on May
30.Neufeld is the daughter of Bowling Green residents Ron and Sue Neufeld. She graduated from Bowling Green
High School in 2001, and earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Ohio State University in
2005.While at Midwestern, she served on numerous national boards and councils within the American
Osteopathic Association, including serving as National Director of Research and Development. She also
received the A.T. Still National Scholarship for her ongoing commitment to utilizing osteopathic
manipulation techniques during the clinical years of medical school.After graduation from Midwestern she
plans to complete a Traditional Rotating Internship at Mercy St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, and
then an advanced residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loyola University, Chicago.Simmons
CollegeAlma-Lynn Dupont, a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green High School, graduated in May from Simmons College
in Boston with a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in graphic design and a bachelor
of arts degree in studio art. She received the Communications Department’s graphic design award and was
honored as a scholar athlete for soccer. She is the daughter of Linda Brown and David Dupont, Bowling
