Stephen Lowe, Northwood, will pursue Neurological Surgery at Medical University of South
Carolina in Charleston, S.C., following graduation from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) this
spring. Lowe was one of 107 students from the College of Medicine’s Class of 2013 who participated in
national Match Day, March 15, where students from across the nation learned where they will continue
their medical training in residency programs following graduation.Emily Elston of Stony Ridge, is an
inductee of Alpha Lambda Delta at Ashland University where she is majoring in early childhood education.
She is the daughter of Guy and Becky Elston of Stony Ridge. Elston is a 2012 graduate of Eastwood High
School.Ohio University at Athens has announced the names of local students who graduated this fall.The
list includes: Tina Boeck, Perrysburg, bachelor of science in Nursing; Jennifer Collings, Bowling Green,
bachelor of science in Nursing; Matthew Monachino, Perrysburg, bachelor of science in Communication; and
Courtney Weiss, Perrysburg, bachelor of science in Education.
