WEST CHESTER, Ohio (AP) — A large trucking company plans toclose a hub and distribution center in
southwest Ohio in a move thataffects about 280 jobs.The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/ZBZsNv ) reports YRC Freight wrote to union
leaders this week about plans toconsolidate operations, including shutting down the hub in West
Chester,north of Cincinnati.Union representative Butch Lewis inCincinnati says 279 employees will have to
decide whether to find otherwork or relocate with YRC. One option could be the Indianapolis hub.Lewissays
the affected workers amount to more than half of YRC’s local staffand include truck drivers, dock workers
and mechanics.Thepresident of YRC Freight says it is trying to optimize its network tocut mileage and
