Sally L. Hartzell

Sally L. Schumaker Hartzell, 56, of Bowling Green, OH, passed away Tuesday, November
13, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Oregon, Ohio to Henry and Joanne (Eberlin) Schumaker. Sally was a
1974 graduate of Clay High School and was employed as a beautician at Visions in
Perrysburg.
Sally was very artistic and enjoyed painting, crafting, working in the garden and
golfing. She was an active member of CedarCreek Church, Perrysburg Campus, for
many years.
Sally was passionate about the work that she and Hardy were involved with at Simpson
Gardens in Bowling Green.
Surviving are her husband, Hardy Hartzell; children, Charles Cody Winstead and Ashley
(Scott) Cronin; grandson, Grady Cronin; parents, Henry and Joanne Schumaker;
step-children, Morgan and Hunter Hartzell; step-grandchild, Ruby Miller;
siblings, William "Bill" (Darla) Schumaker and their children, Dani
and Sam Finley and their daughter, Mya Campbell,
Andy Schumaker, Sandy (Colin) Gill and her children, Brian and Andrea Beard, and
their children, Rachel and Leah Beard, Mike and Katie Beard and their child,
Mason, Diane (Chad) Devillier and their children, April Williams and her son,
John Worley, Chris Williams, Kyle Williams, Trey Devillier and Scott Schumaker
and his son, Dylan Schumaker.
In accordance with Sally’s wishes, her body is being donated to medical science. A
memorial service will be held at Cedar Creek Church on Saturday, November 24,
2012 at 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Sally’s memory can be made to Sally’s
Memorial Fund c/o any First Federal Bank.
Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral
Homes.
