Three prominent Catholic musicians will perform at Blessed John XXIII Catholic Parish in Perrysburg on
Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Singers and songwriters Steve Angrisano, Sarah Hart and Jesse Manibusan will provide entertainment for
the first of three concerts that will be held at the parish over the next nine months. Tickets for this
event are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
The concert series is the brainchild of Michael Puppos, pastoral associate for music and liturgy.
"I felt our parish and community would embrace a series of musical performances that would help
broaden their scope and appreciation of music while providing a good venue for family
entertainment," says Puppos. "Our church’s mixed choir and contemporary bands use a good deal
of Catholic Christian music, including music from the three artists who will perform on Sept. 15."

Angrisano is a veteran musician, composer and youth minister who has been featured at six World Youth
Days, several National Catholic Youth Conferences and many diocesan youth conventions. He is considered
one of the most effective and versatile ministry leaders in the Catholic Church today.
His performances provide audiences a passionate message of faith, hope and love

that have been recorded by numerous artists. Her music has appeared in the television shows "Joan
of Arcadia" and "Strong Medicine," as well as the film "Coyote County Loser."
Her songs can be found in print in most Catholic churches in the U.S. Hart has a special passion for
women’s ministry, and she has written several retreats for women.
Manibusan is a dynamic performer with the special gift of being able to engage and reach out to any
individual in any setting. He calls himself a Catholic lay evangelist who uses music, comedy and stories
to connect with people. Very much in demand around the country as a motivational speaker, Manibusan’s
uplifting message touches all generations. He spent most of his life serving as a music and youth
minister in various parishes in the Diocese of Oakland, California. He was named Artist of the Year by
the United Catholic Music and Video Association.
Future events in the series will feature the Perrysburg Symphony and The Toledo Choral Society on Dec. 14
for a Christmas concert.
