The members of Paul C. Ladd VFW Post 1148 Ladies Auxiliary have elected new officers for the coming year.

Officers are: President, Jenny West; senior vice president, Deb Hermiller; junior vice president, Patsy
Gaines; secretary-treasurer, Kathy Oldham; chaplain, Linda Grubb; conductress, Charlotte Howard; and
guard, Colleen Jeffries.
The new officers will take over their duties July 1.
They were elected at the auxiliary’s regular meeting on June 18 at the post home. Senior Vice President
Jenny West was in charge, in the absence of President Charlotte Howard. There were six officers and
three members present.
Individual reports were given.
Veterans and Family Support: Hermiller made a poppy cross for Memorial Day.
Americanism: President Howard, Senior Vice President West, Guard Hermiller and Grubb participated in the
Memorial Day Parade and ceremony at Oak Grove Cemetery. They then participated at the services at Memory
Gardens.
Cancer: The auxiliary is purchasing 50 cancer pins this year. They will be available after July 1.
The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on July 16, a Monday, at the post home, 719 S. Main St., Bowling
Green.
