Bob and Emily (Firestone) Guion, Bowling Green, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today.
The Guions were married June 8, 1947 in Kansas City, Mo.
They have five children, David, Greensboro, N.C.; Diana White, Portland, Ore.; Keith, Hayesville, OH; Pam
Lillard, Newfield, N.Y.; and Judy Utsler, Columbus. There are 11 grandchildren.
Bob Guion is a distinguished professor emeritus of psychology at Bowling Green State University. Bob and
Emily are both active volunteers with the Wheeled Meals program at Wood County Hospital. They were one
of 22 couples honored statewide for long-term marriages and volunteerism.
They will celebrate with family both at home and in Oregon later this summer.
