DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — A newspaper review shows seven medical
professors and coaches at Ohio State University received bonuses topping

base earnings.
The Dayton Daily News reports Sunday (http://bit.ly/H456Ed ) that the university paid more
than 4,000 employees total bonuses of
about $25.6 million, up from roughly $13.6 million given in 2010 to
about 1,700 employees.
Basketball coach Thad Matta was the highest
earner, with a bonus of about $1.1 million boosting his annual pay to
about $2.2 million. The second-highest paid employee was a heart

University officials say medical and sports
