As a resident of Bowling Green for over 35 years I have spent many a summer day at
the pool in city park. The sounds of children laughing and the voices of
instructors teaching lessons and the cheering for the swim team is music to my
ears.
City Park pool. That combination has worked for over 50 years and I can’t imagine one
without the other. But in order to maintain this wonderful combination, it is
vital to invest in a new outdoor facility by passing the aquatic levy on March
6.
A good thing can last forever. I urge you to vote yes on March 6 to replace our city
pool. Please view this project as an investment in our community and our
children.
