‘Music Ministry Christmas Concert’ on Sunday
The "Music Ministry Christmas Concert" at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church will be held at 4 p.m.
Sunday.
The concert will feature the adult choir, the chamber choir, handbells, the children’s choir, organ and
hymn singing.
Organizers promise the event will be a "spirited afternoon."
The church is located at 315 S. College Drive in Bowling Green.
LaFontaine to present Christmas concert Sunday
PERRYSBURG – Sheri LaFontaine, a noted singer and songwriter, will be at Bethel Assembly of God, on
Sunday at 10 a.m. for a Christmas concert. The church office indicated the singer "has an amazing
voice and her music ministers to the young and old alike." This concert will prepare listeners for
the "Real Reason for the Season," and is open to the public.
There will be free admission, but a freewill offering will be taken to bless LaFontaine’s ministry.

Blue Christmas program set
Peace Lutheran Church, 1021 W. Wooster St., will be offering a Blue Christmas worship service on
Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The service will provide a sacred space and a time to pause for remembering those we miss and for those
living in times of loss.
The public is invited to attend.
Healing service Sunday
NORTH BALTIMORE – St. Luke’s Lutheran Church will host a quiet, calming, healing service of God’s Word,
prayer, and anointing with oil at 7 p.m. Sunday.
The service will focus on the themes of Advent one last time this year. This service will especially
focus on those who are experiencing stress and pain in the holiday season. The service, which includes
anointing with oil, is for those with specific requests for healing, as well as an opportunity to pray
for others in need of healing.
New worshipping community
PEMBERVILLE – Sonfire by the River is a new worshipping community which meets at 222 E. Front St.,
Pemberville. The location is behind Beeker’s General Store on the lower level.
Service time is Sundays at 10:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend.
Free community meal Monday
STONY RIDGE – A free community meal sponsored by People Feeding People will be offered Monday from 5:30
to 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall of Stony Ridge Lutheran church, 5520 Fremont Pike. The meal is held on
