Rummage sale set
PERRYSBURG – St. Rose Catholic Parish will hold a rummage sale on Thursday and next Friday. at Knights of
Columbus (Graystone) Hall, 29101 Hufford Road.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, with all items as marked. The closing day will be $5 a bag with
hours from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Those wishing to drop off donated items may do so on both Monday and Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bazaar is today and Saturday
Village View Church of Christ, 801 W. Poe Road, is hosting its "Homemade from the Heart Bazaar"
today 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited.
Monthly lunch to benefit young accident victim
The congregation of Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, will host a special benefit for its
monthly soup and salad luncheon in the fellowship hall Sunday.
Thrivent Financial will provide supplemental funds to benefit Warren "Tug" Robison, an
11-year-old from Archbold, who was injured in an accident on July 14. He has family ties to this area.

The luncheon will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The menu includes chili and chicken noodle soup, hot dogs and sloppy Joes, along with a variety of salads
and desserts.
Those who cannot attend, may make donations by sending a check to the church with Robison benefit in the
memo line. Send the check in care of Ralph Aufdenkamp, 8369 Kramer Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
Senior CSI event set
PERRYSBURG – CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next
meeting to be held Nov. 22 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice
each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for miscellaneous expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Pastor Chuck Campbell of Lutheran Church of Master. Lunch is
served at noon, provided by Otterbein.
The program which follows will be "Toledo" by Clint Mauk.
Seniors should call Phyllis Morton (419) 872-0846 for information and reservations which need to be made
by next Friday.
Christian School welcomes Mike Huckabee on Dec. 10
TOLEDO – Toledo Christian has announced that Mike Huckabee, a pastor and former governor will be the
keynote speaker at this year’s annual benefit banquet to be held Dec. 10 at SeaGate Center in downtown
Toledo.
Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m.
Sponsorship opportunities at various levels are available. Tickets are $50 and include dinner. Seating is
limited to 900.

Holiday deadlines
Information for Thanksgiving worship or related events need to be submitted by Wednesday as they will be
published on Nov. 18. Information for services for the last weekend of the month (Nov. 25-26) need to be
submitted by Nov. 22 as the pages will be laid out prior to Thanksgiving. Please remind the proper
church officials of these special deadlines.
