HEBRON — Lakota sophomore Cariss Reese finished 37th Saturday in the Division III girls race at the state
cross country meet, leading Wood County’s results at National Trail Raceway.
Bowling Green junior Brian Seymour was 45th in the Division I boys race.
Perrysburg sophomore Taylor Monheim finished 49th in the Division I girls race.
The top 25 individual finishers in each division earned All-Ohio honors. No other teams or individuals
from the county competed.
Reese finished in a time of 19:52.53. Liberty Center freshman Brittany Atkinson won the race in a time of
18:27.51. This was Reese’s second trip to state after finishing 65th as a freshman.
Seymour finished in a time of 16:19.27 in his first appearance at the state meet. Reynoldsburg’s Tsehaye
Hiluf won the race in a time of 15:21.52.
Monheim finished in a time of 19:14.77 in her second trip to state. She was 56th last season. Cincinnati
Princeton’s Claudia Saunders won the race in a time of 18:04.50.
