I am dismayed that so little has been in the media about Issues 1 and 3. When I mention these to people,
most do not know what they are.
All three issues, not just Issue 2 that has been highly publicized, are important.
I hope voters will be aware of the content of these issues before going to the polls.
Issue 1 – To increase the maximum age from 70 to 75 years for a person to be elected or appointed to be a
judge.
Issue 2 – is so lengthy that it is difficult to know all its facets, but it is an attack on public
service employees and the middle class.
Issue 3 – is to decide whether all persons must participate in a health care system. By defeating this,
premiums can be held in check and insurance companies will have more competition.
I agree with the points made by Audry Palumbo in her letter to the editor on Nov. 2.
All three issues deserve a "no" vote.
