Fire and EMS crews were called to the 300 block of Ordway Avenue in Bowling Green Saturday afternoon
after a silver-maple tree fell and struck a child. The 10-year-old was taken to Wood County Hospital
with unspecified injuries. Additional information was not available because of the health privacy law.
Winds were reported gusting to 35 mph.
