Peters’ medalist round leads NB to golf win
Andrew Peters was the medalist with a 40 as North Baltimore’s boys golf team posted a 178-195 win
Wednesday over Leipsic in a non-league match at Pike Run.
NB’s other scores were: Justin Gazarek, 44; and Brock Boyer, Jacob Frost and Corey Bean, 46 each. The
Tigers are 2-0 in dual matches.
BG finishes second
Bowling Green shot a 311 Monday to finish second in the 20-team Irish Invitational at Stone Ridge. St.
John’s won with a 300 total.
Nolan Dill led BG with a 75 to tie for sixth individually. BG’s others scores were: Evan Gardner, 77;
Chien Han Sung, 79; and Trey Walker, 80.
BG resident Austin Gardner had a 77 for St. John’s.
GIRLS GOLF
Perrysburg places second
Perrysburg’s girls golf team finished second Tuesday in the Lady Jacket Open at White Pines.
Toledo St. Ursula won with a 324 total. Perrysburg shot 333 in the 17-team field.
Bowling Green and Perrysburg’s junior varsity each shot 427 and Eastwood shot 494.
Perrysburg’s Monica Dorner shot 78 and was runnerup for individual honors. Becca Tudor added 83 for the
Yellow Jackets. No other individual scores were reported.
