Travel softball tryouts planned
JERRY CITY – Tryouts for the Buckeye Heat travel softball teams in the 10U, 14U and 16U age groups are
Tuesday at the Elmwood High School softball field, 7650 Jerry City Road.
The tryouts are from 6-8 p.m.

The flight winners were: A, Smith, low gross and Kay Marten, low net; B, Joan McCormick, low gross and
Doris Christensen and Mary Ann Hillier, tied for low net; C, Carol Jones, low gross and Sally Amos, low
net; and Smith, low putts.
Golferettes
The Bowling Green Country Club Golferettes played a "Shamble" on Tuesday.
Jean Bateman won the tournament with a score of 33.
