Gump finishes fourth in 800
ATHENS, Greece — Amanda Gump, of Wayne, finished fourth in her division of the 800 at the Special
Olympics World Summer Games Friday.
She had a time of 3:06.95, bettering her previous best of 3:12.86. She ran against women from Tanzania,
Botswana, France, Sweden, Australia, and Italy.
Gump will run a leg in the 1,600 relay today. She also finished fifth in the 400 Thursday.
